On Sunday 28 January 2007, IBED climatologist Dr. John van Boxel held a 'Wakker Worden Kinderlezing' (Lecture series for children) about Climate Change in the past and future at the NEMO science museum in Amsterdam.

In his lecture, John van Boxel helped children discover why the climate on Earth is always changing and what the consequences for the future will be. Will all ice at the North Pole be gone in 50 years as some predict?
