26 April 2017

The paper entitled "Mind the Gap: Persistent and Mobile Organic Compounds—Water Contaminants That Slip Through" was selected as one of the Best Papers of 2016 of the prestigious journal "Environmental Science & Technology".

Together with colleagues from the European research project PROMOTE, Pim de Voogt published a feature paper in Environmental Science & Technology entitled "Mind the Gap: Persistent and Mobile Organic Compounds—Water Contaminants That Slip Through" that was selected by the journal as one of the 3 best feature articles in 2016.

In this feature, they argue that a class of newly emerging contaminants, so-called persistent and mobile organic chemicals (PMOCs) are a threat to the quality of water resources.
