My research focuses on the interplay between behavioral and evolutionary ecology. I investigate the role played by variation in genetic and phenotypic correlated traits and its relation to plasticity in the way in which organisms interact among each other and cope with environmental changes. I combine comparative analyses with long term monitoring as well as field and lab experiments to respond a wide range of questions related to the conservation of biodiversity, the evolution of life-history strategies and ecological interactions.
