Benthic ecology Lab

Welcome! Together with Dr. J.A. (Arie) Vonk I run the Benthic Ecology Lab, doing research at the interface of water and sediment.
This lab is part of the department of Aquatic Environmental Ecology (AEE) of the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics (IBED). The AEE department is headed by Prof. dr. W.P. (Pim) de Voogt (chair in Environmental Chemistry) and  Prof. dr. P.F.M ( Piet) Verdonschot (special chair Wetland Restoration Ecology).

The activities of the Benthic ecology lab are embedded in the Amsterdam Water Science (UvA VU) and the Centre for Wetland Ecology.
