Professor Annemarie van Wezel delivered her inaugural lecture

On Thursday 12 December 2019 Professor Annemarie van Wezel, Scientific Director of the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics (IBED) and named Professor of Environmental Ecology, delivered her inaugural lecture "Chemophilia/Chemophobia" at the University of Amsterdam.
In her lecture Annemarie van Wezel tells her audience about the use of chemical products, why this grew so enormously over the last decades (Chemophilia), but also about the toxicity and the risks for the environment (Chemophobia).
