On 8 March 2023, the NWO Executive Board assigned an overarching connection project within the NWA program 'Towards a practical Safe-by-Design approach for chemical products and processes'. The previously assigned three case projects have set up an overarching connection project BenignSynthesis in which the developed methods and lessons learned from the individual projects are investigated for other situations, made applicable, scaled up and disseminated
